PROMOTION INFORMATION
This Promotion Information is to be read in conjunction with the Terms and Conditions of Entry.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF ENTRY
1. Information of the specific promotion forms part of these terms and conditions of entry. By participating in this promotion, you will be taken to have accepted the terms and conditions of this promotion.
2. The promotor of this promotion is DiDi Mobility (Australia) Pty Ltd (ABN 96 623 144 963) (DiDi).
Eligibility and Entry
3. (Eligible Entrant) To be eligible for this promotion, all entrants must be an Australian resident aged 18 or over and a registered DiDi rider of Queensland, Victoria or Western Australia with a registered email address linked to their account.
4. (Qualified Entrant) To qualify for this promotion, an eligible entrant must redeem the promo code “STARWARS” in Promotions > Redeem a promo code in the DiDi Rider app and either:
(a) complete at least one (1) trip within DiDi’s geographical area of operation in Queensland, Victoria or Western Australia within the Promotion Period; or
(b) successfully refer at least one (1) rider using the eligible entrant’s unique referral code within the Promotion Period.
5. A successful referral is recognised when the referee signs up using the referral’s unique referral code and completes one (1) trip within seven (7) days of registering in accordance with DiDi’s rider refer rider terms and conditions which can be found in the DiDi Rider app. DiDi reserves the right to determine if a referral is successful or unsuccessful.
6. All Qualified Entrants will automatically enter into the promotion. DiDi may, in its sole discretion, disqualify any entries from, and prohibit further participation in this promotion by any person without further explanation.
7. Each trip completed will count as one (1) entry. Each successful referral will count as ten (10) entries.
8. Entries are accumulative and will reset at 00:00 (local time) on the superseding Monday.
Drawing and Winner Announcement
9. For each State, nighty (90) winners will be randomly drawn at 2pm on each Monday (local time) of the Promotion Period, being 9 December 2019, 16 December 2019, 23 December 2019, 30 December 2019 and 6 December 2019).
10. Winners will be notified on the same day by email associated with the winner’s DiDi account. Lists of winners may also be displayed on DiDi’s website blog, Facebook page and Instagram page.
11. If the number of Qualified Entrant is less than nighty (90), the number of winners will be the number of Qualified Entrants.
12. DiDi reserves the right to draw additional entries in case any invalid entry or unqualified entrant is drawn.
Prize
13. The Prize is composed of 2 x The Rise of Skywalker passes at a partnered Moonlight Cinema on 12 February 2019 in the State where the winner’s account is registered. The Prize will be issued on each of the five (5) Winner Announcement Date.
14. To redeem the Prize, each winner will receive in email a unique code to be redeemed in the DiDi Rider app.
15. Winners are responsible for all other costs which may be incurred in acceptance and use of the Prize. Winners acknowledge and agree that if any cost is incurred, unless expressly stated otherwise, DiDi is in no way connected to the provider of goods or services for which costs are incurred.
16. DiDi reserves the right to substitute a prize with alternative prize(s) of similar or greater value in the event that the original Prize offered is not available for any reason outside DiDi’s control. Alternative prize includes without limitations, Moonlight Cinema voucher(s) and DiDi voucher(s).
17. Unless otherwise specified, prizes or any unused portion of a prize, are not exchangeable or transferable and cannot be redeemed for cash.
Miscellaneous
18. At DiDi’s request, winners must participate in all promotional activity (such as publicity and photography) in connection with this promotion, free of charge, and consent to DiDi using their name and image in promotional material.
19. DiDi may communicate, advertise or run a promotion using Facebook or Instagram. However, such promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Facebook or Instagram. By entering any promotion, you are agreeing to completely release Facebook or Instagram from any and all liability associated with the promotion.
20. By participating in the competition, unless otherwise advised, each entrant expressly consents to DiDi collecting personal information from entrants to conduct the competition and may, in the course of business, use the personal information for promotional and marketing purposes or disclose the personal information to third parties, as required and to the extent permissible under applicable privacy laws. A request to access, update or correct any information should be directed to that office.
21. DiDi is not liable for any loss (including loss of opportunity), damage (including, but not limited to, direct, indirect or consequential loss), personal injury, illness or death suffered in relation to this promotion or the acceptance or use of the prize, except for any liability which under statute cannot be excluded (in which case that liability is limited to the greatest extent allowed by law).
22. Without limiting previous paragraph, DiDi will not be liable for any damage to or delay in transit of prizes.
23. DiDi reserves the right to modify, suspend or terminate the competition without notice.
